Makaton is a language programme bringing freedom to people with learning or speaking difficulties. We created 'Okey': an animated icon which celebrates all the positive and liberating virtues of Makaton. Like the language, the marque combines both speech and hand movement into a singular form. We dropped all mention of 'charity' and focused instead on their role as enabler, using 'Let's talk' to instantly identify themselves with both new and existing audiences.
